About the Role:

Are you an experienced financial analyst with a keen ability to prepare and analyze financial data for accurate reporting and compliance? We're seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team and support our organization’s financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute project and fixed asset accounting tasks, alongside critical month-end close and reporting activities.
  • Efficiently manage tight deadlines and adapt to constantly shifting priorities.
  • Conduct self-reviews to verify that balances align with supporting documentation and schedules, ensuring accuracy in formulas, well-documented variances, and sound judgments.
  • Cultivate a continuous improvement mindset, proactively seeking system and process enhancements with leadership support.
  • Apply professional skepticism to evaluate methodologies and purposes within assignments, and analysis conducted during these tasks.
  • Provide support for Unify (ERP conversion to Oracle Cloud) on upcoming releases.
  • Collaborate with Finance groups during month-end close, handle special projects/requests, and lead issue resolution efforts.
  • Participate in supporting internal controls, audits, and responding to requests.

Qualifications:

  • An accounting designation (CPA/CMA) or currently pursuing a designation.
  • A minimum of 2 years in relevant accounting/finance experience.
  • A university or college degree in business, commerce, or a related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on results, and a commitment to sharing expertise with team members impartially.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of querying tools and pivot tables.
  • Strong understanding and application of accounting principles (US GAAP), internal controls, systems, and processes.
  • Ability to independently assess, exercise good judgment, and effectively resolve issues.
  • Initiative to gather knowledge from team members and business clients to enhance assignment completion.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, marked by clarity, conciseness, and organization.
