Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a Natural Gas Scheduler to join the Gas Management Services (GMS) team, a key component of Energy Services. The GMS team is responsible for achieving revenue targets, operational excellence, and outstanding customer service. This role involves ensuring timely and accurate natural gas flow requests for all customers and suppliers at the Dawn Hub and various pipelines. This opportunity will allow you to deepen your understanding of the natural gas market and develop relationships with multiple departments and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Issue and confirm natural gas flow requests for customers, suppliers, and pipelines.
• Validate daily gas flows on the transmission pipeline interconnects, storage facilities, and third-party transmission pipelines.
• Prepare accurate monthly activity statements for customers, which are used for invoicing.
• Respond to inquiries from pipelines, suppliers, and customers.
• Develop and maintain positive business relationships with customers, agents, marketers, and interconnecting pipelines.

Qualifications:

• University/College Degree preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient understanding of PC applications (e.g., Excel, Word, Web browsers) required.
• Ability to quickly learn information technology systems used to enable GMS business processes is an asset.
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines is desired.
• Two or more years of previous scheduling experience or comparable industry experience is desired.

Working Conditions:

• Availability and willingness to work day and evening rotations, including weekends and an on-call schedule.
• Sample rotations: day (8:00 am-5:00 pm), evening (2:00 pm – 11:00 pm), weekend (10:00 am – 11:00 pm).
