About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Project Engineer to oversee risk management activities for our MP portfolio of projects. This role is crucial in ensuring the identification, assessment, response, monitoring, and control of risks, with a strong emphasis on supporting timely implementation of risk-based decision-making and establishing corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage risk identification, assessment, response, monitoring, and control activities for the MP portfolio of projects.
  • Lead early risk and opportunity identification, assessment, and response planning sessions to support planning activities.
  • Create and lead the development of templates and flowcharts for project risk management processes and execution strategies.
  • Oversee risk response progress, identify emerging risks, and implement appropriate responses.
  • Establish schedule risk models and assess the confidence level of meeting the In-Service Date.
  • Work closely with the project team to assist in leading risk-based decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Ensure timely updates of the risk register and create comprehensive risk reports.
  • Conduct continuous cost and schedule review/analysis, and analyze the impact of changes on the project.
  • Conduct constructability review sessions to ensure project feasibility.
  • Support contingency estimation and calibration for all projects.
  • Conduct lessons learned sessions, issue resolution, trend analysis, and ensure timely communication of lessons to other teams within the Projects Organization.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in risk management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
