Position Overview:

The Electrical Technician is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and performing repairs and planned maintenance on equipment. This role requires a commitment to maintaining effective customer relations and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess basic equipment issues and implement appropriate repairs. Perform planned maintenance (PM), safety, and environmental inspections as assigned.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and protocols. Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain daily communication with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to high customer satisfaction.
  • Support business goals and objectives by implementing customer facility contracts effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with local team members to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within the assigned area.
  • Document all repair actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule. Ensure proper care and calibration of spares, tools, and test equipment.
  • Enhance and maintain technical knowledge of current standards, codes, and procedures regarding the safe and effective use/handling of equipment through formal training.
  • Meet all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Criteria & Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Experience/Training:
  • Minimum of one-year experience or equivalent formal training in maintaining electronics or electromechanical equipment.
  • Previous experience in developing and maintaining good customer relations is preferred.
  • Certification: Trade certificate required or equivalent training.
