Enbridge is hiring a Corrosion Technician right now—when you apply, Raise will review your application within 48 hours and contact qualified applicants for interviews.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, maintain and trouble-shoot natural gas pipeline facilities including, cathodic protection equipment and systems (rectifiers and ground-beds), corrosion control systems and methodology, and pipeline integrity procedures, practices and technologies.
  • Ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of facilities relative to the assigned discipline(s).
  • Work closely with pipeline/plant personnel, technicians in the same or other subject areas, and contract personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies/procedures as well as external regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or GED and minimal directly relevant training and experience.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Reside within 30 miles of the assigned reporting location.
  • Perform physically demanding activities in all types of weather conditions.
  • Able and willing to work overtime, weekends, be on call and standby, and travel overnight as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of work experience as a technician or equivalent job knowledge.
  • Proficient in the use of standard office software applications.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills demonstrated through training, formal education, and/or experience.
  • Able to work independently with little direction.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach, willing to take ownership and address issues effectively.
  • Possess practical knowledge of operational procedures relevant to facility maintenance.
  • NACE certification in corrosion control is a plus in filling this position.
