Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled Project Controls Coordinator to provide comprehensive "Total Field Control" for assigned projects. This role involves managing field costs, conducting forecasting and variance analysis, and providing monitoring, reporting, and control services throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to proactively communicate project progress and risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record, track, and maintain all field submissions related to cost, budget, progress, and change.
- Review and record daily Labor, Equipment, and Material tickets for cost and man-hour information.
- Interface with contractors to deliver training and support for EcoSys LEMs, ensuring accuracy in rates and estimates.
- Collaborate with Inspectors to secure accurate documentation for report updates.
- Support Project Controls Advisors in setting up, receiving, and attesting Labor, Equipment, and Material tickets.
- Serve as a dedicated Field Cost Analyst resource for high-risk, high-complexity projects.
- Prepare expenditure profiles, workforce histograms, comparative capital cost estimates, and monthly forecast summaries.
- Work with the internal team and stakeholders to understand field and indirect costs, comparing these against budget and monthly forecast values.
- Track Key Performance Indicators and collaborate with support groups to improve project execution.
- Prepare project status reports with variance analysis and reasoning for senior and project management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in field cost management, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in EcoSys or similar project management software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to prepare comprehensive project reports and cost estimates.
- Experience with high-risk, high-complexity projects is preferred.
