** The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
About the Role:
Our client is seeking an Application Support Analyst I to provide comprehensive support for Maximo applications, focusing on asset management and preventative maintenance for distribution station assets. This role involves collaboration with various internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Maximo application support, including asset creation, specification population, and assignment of Preventative Maintenance (PM) frequencies for distribution station assets.
- Collaborate with the Station Build team, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to close out legacy projects and investments.
- Address inquiries related to Station Build from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Station Build, Stations Engineering, and/or vendor fabricators to obtain engineering-stamped station drawings, data sheets, and quotes.
- Assist the Station Build Supervisor and Advisors in developing and maintaining key reports.
- Support the station design selection, fabrication, and installation process for the Station Rebuild Program.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of best practices related to internal processes and procedures within the Station Build team.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance in all activities.
- Foster strong teamwork and collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in processes and practices.
- Maintain a focus on customer satisfaction and service quality.
Qualifications:
- A related university degree or college diploma with 4 years of experience, or 6+ years of relevant utility experience, with a strong preference for Distribution Operations and/or the Engineering industry.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to ensure efficient task completion.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in digital literacy and experience with PC-based applications (Maximo, Microsoft Office Suite).
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Maximo.
- Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the design and operation of gas measurement and regulation stations serving distribution systems and customers.
- Knowledge of regulator sizing is an asset.
- Understanding of applicable codes and standards, and the ability to apply company policies and practices in Distribution Operations.
