About the Role: 

We are seeking a Project Controls Coordinator II (PCC) to join our team, where you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of project controls planning, integrating cost and schedule functions, and overseeing the quality control of all project controls deliverables for Engineering and Construction capital projects. You will be assigned to projects with budgets up to $25 million annually, typically lasting one year or less and ranging from routine to mid-level complexity.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of the overall Project Execution Plan.
• Develop and maintain essential project controls deliverables, including:

1. Cost Report and Cost Variance Analysis
2. Cash Flow Report and Variance Analysis
3. Schedule Report and Schedule Variance Analysis
4. Project Change Management Procedure
5. Project Controls Plan
6. Monthly Progress Report integrating cost control and scheduling functions.

• Define project controls resource requirements.
• Perform quality control checks on all project control deliverables ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Lead the collection of deliverables for Phase Gate Review meetings adhering to the 6-Phase Project Lifecycle.
• Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to project controls and project systems functional groups, sharing actual experiences gained during the implementation of new tools, processes, or procedures.

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or another technical discipline, or significant industry-specific project controls experience with 7-10 years of relevant experience.

Desired Qualifications:

• Effectiveness within a matrix organizational structure.
• Specific knowledge and experience in scheduling and cost processes related to pipeline and plant facility projects.
• Familiarity with best management practices for project scheduling and cost control.
• Ability to understand and implement project scheduling and cost control processes and practices.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with sensible supervision.
• Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction in a team environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Server.
