About the Role:

As a Digital Media Specialist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that supports both educational and promotional initiatives for client projects. This role requires strong technical expertise in videography—including camera operation, lighting, sound, and post‑production—as well as the creative ability to transform raw footage into compelling, story‑driven visual content. The ideal candidate is organized, self‑motivated, and comfortable working directly with clients to understand project goals, gather feedback, and deliver polished work within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand project objectives, creative direction, and client requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate video shoots, including storyboarding, shot lists, and scheduling.
  • Prepare production logistics to ensure smooth execution of filming sessions.
  • Operate professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment during shoots (must provide own equipment).
  • Capture high-quality, visually compelling footage aligned with creative briefs and project goals.
  • Direct on‑camera talent or interview subjects as needed.
  • Ensure safe and effective filming practices, including work on construction job sites when required.
  • Maintain, transport, and properly store equipment.
  • Edit raw footage into polished final videos using industry‑standard editing software.
  • Apply color correction, basic colour grading, audio balancing, and light motion graphics.
  • Integrate music, graphics, subtitles, closed captions, and special effects as needed.
  • Deliver finalized videos in required formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios for various platforms (web, social media, presentations, etc.).
  • Manage and organize digital assets, ensuring proper backups and archival.
  • Stay current on evolving video production technology, equipment, and creative techniques.
  • Recommend improvements to processes, workflows, or storytelling approaches.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in film, videography, or video production.
  • Demonstrated skill in camera operation, lighting setup, and audio recording.
  • Proficiency with professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing visual storytelling and technical capability.
  • Solid organizational and time‑management skills, with experience handling multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a videographer or digital media specialist.
  • Proficiency in video editing software and post‑production workflows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, adapting to changing priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project locations in the U.S., Canada, or Europe.
  • Experience working with corporate clients.
  • Experience filming on construction or industrial worksites.
  • Experience directing or guiding on‑camera talent.
  • Must possess a valid passport.

Please note: Successful applicants will be employees of Raise, working at Enbridge facilities with both Enbridge and contract employees.
