Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives with a strong background in high-volume call center environments, specifically within gas utilities. This role will primarily support billing and collections inquiries, along with other potentially safety-sensitive customer concerns.
Key Requirements:
Experience handling calls in a busy utility (gas preferred) call center environment
Strong customer-centric mindset and service expertise
Experience supporting billing and collections inquiries
Ability to manage safety-sensitive customer concerns professionally
Proficient typing skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems/screens efficiently
Spanish bilingual skills preferred
Comfortable working in a high-tenured environment with potential for long-term assignment
While not directly handling gas safety issues, agents must still be:
Safety‑minded
Able to identify and escalate safety concerns appropriately
Customer service experience (minimum 1 year)
Typing proficiency (fast and accurate)
Important due to multitasking and navigating multiple systems/screens
System navigation skills, general digital proficiency
Additional Details:
Majority of calls will be billing-related
In-person interviews scheduled for next Tuesday and Wednesday
Potential for extended duration based on performance and business needs
