Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Project Manager to oversee the facilities scope for a major gas pipeline project in British Columbia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale gas facility programs, including both greenfield and brownfield projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the facilities scope of the project from detailed design through completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders—including regulatory agencies and Indigenous communities—to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor project performance.
  • Implement risk management strategies to proactively mitigate project risks.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineering and support staff.
  • Foster strong relationships with senior management, external partners, and customers.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

Additional Assets (Preferred):

  • Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (MBA) or equivalent
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation

Required Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years of project management experience
  • Proven track record managing large-scale, multidisciplinary projects, including gas compression facilities
  • Extensive experience in stakeholder management, particularly with Indigenous communities and regulatory agencies
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing project budgets
  • Strong background in safety leadership, environmental management, and regulatory compliance
