Full-time  Housekeeping Trainer

Position Overview

Empire Hospitality is seeking an experienced Full-time  Housekeeping Trainer to support our Sydney hotel partners by delivering high‑quality, consistent, and compliant training across all housekeeping functions.

This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives on coaching teams, elevating service standards, and ensuring operational excellence.

Monday to Friday only.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training Delivery — Facilitate onboarding, refresher, and upskilling sessions for Room Attendants, Housepersons, Public Area Attendants, and Supervisors.
  • Standards & Compliance — Ensure all training aligns with Empire Hospitality procedures, WHS obligations, and 5‑star brand standards.
  • Skills Assessment — Conduct competency checks, practical demonstrations, and performance evaluations.
  • Documentation & Reporting — Maintain accurate training records, attendance logs, and improvement plans.
  • Operational Support — Provide on‑floor coaching, room inspections, and corrective guidance during live operations.
  • Continuous Improvement — Identify training gaps, propose solutions, and support quality audits.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Housekeeping Experience in 4–5 star hotels (minimum 2–3 years).
  • Previous Training or Supervisory experience highly regarded.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS, manual handling, infection control, and hotel brand standards.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple hotel sites within Sydney CBD and surrounds.
