ABOUT THE JOB 

We're searching for an ambitious and experienced Business Director / Account Director to join our highly awarded team in Melbourne.    

We want someone who is passionate about taking reputable brands to the next level with culturally impactful, award-winning PR and social media campaigns. This is an influential role, where ultimately, you are responsible for managing, retaining and growing a portfolio of highly recognised accounts. 

 We’re not looking for just another PR professional, we want a tenacious, driven leader who wants to do truly career-defining work and lead a team who are talented and eager to learn from you.   

A DAY IN THE LIFE 

  • Leading the development and execution of PR-led and integrated campaigns 
  • Collaborating closely with internal creative, strategy and client service teams 
  • Managing several client accounts, including management of campaign activity, budgets and timelines to deliver on strategic goals 
  • Providing senior counsel and strategic direction to client brand leads 
  • Staying ahead of earned media shifts and trends to future-proof client success 
  • Inspiring and guiding junior and mid-level team members 
  • Contributing to agency culture through curiosity, collaboration and creative leadership 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ELEVEN 

  • 5+ years working in a similar environment 
  • Experience leading large brands with award-winning campaigns   
  • Proven background in working in an integrated, creative environment encompassing planning, creative, digital, content and production   
  • Effectively plan and meet deadlines; successfully juggling multiple work priorities and managing your own and your team’s time 
  • High level influencing skills and communication skills – ability to construct strong and logical arguments    
  • Expert understanding of how modern newsrooms and newscycles operate 
  • High comfort level with fast-paced, creative-led environments 
  • Excellent client relationship and presentation capabilities 
  • Demonstrated success in growing and winning new business
