We're seeking a new National Wholesale Strategic Manager, reporting to our Head of Wholesale, based in Sydney. With one direct report this business critical role supports ECCO's Wholesale sales channel growth and objectives.

About the role:

The National Wholesale Strategic Manager sits on ECCO's Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for supporting the growth of the Wholesale sales channel and to achieve set objectives. Reporting to the Head of Wholesale, this position is the primary support office contact for the wholesale field sales representatives and provides customer service directly to the accounts. This role is also responsible for the local usage and maintenance of the 3rd party E-Com support.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Wholesale Support & Strategy

  • Develop strong partnerships with accounts including actively driving repeat sales
  • First point of contact for all Wholesale communication
  • Liaise with Merchandising team on product pricing, availability & requirements
  • Prepare volume forecasts, budget spreadsheets and reporting including territory activity reports
  • Salesforce Customer Relationship Management
  • Seek to establish EDI to key customers

3rd Party eCommerce Support

  • Create master data based on 3rd party eCommerce requirements
  • Load content on websites using correct specifications
  • Daily checks on holder order vs availability, amend master data flow and communicate with stakeholders

Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Degree qualification in a related field.
  • 10+ years' experience in a sales management environment.
  • Mobility within Australia / New Zealand preferred.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills required. 
  • A positive and engaging communication style.
  • Ability to build strong relations.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Highly organized with strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail.
