Reporting to the Head of Merchandising, this full-time role will be the key player in effectively planning and managing our merchandise for ECCO across Australia & New Zealand.

About the role:

ECCO Shoes Pacific is seeking a talented and passionate Merchandise Planner to join our amazing supportive team in our Support Centre at Norwest Business Park! Reporting to the Head of Merchandising, this full-time role will be the key player in effectively planning and managing our merchandise for ECCO across Australia & New Zealand.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Allocation and create robust Category Plans across all key business metrics
  • Actively participate in the ranging process
  • Manage Retail inventory position/stock flow to achieve optimum balance, maximise stock turn and sell through, and minimise product markdown and aged inventory
  • Apply 'just in time' approach to coordinate delivery flow of stock into our 32 stores
  • Support the Merchandise Team in managing annual brand sales and inventory budgets by category, accounting for calculated reforecasts, risks, opportunities and corrective actions
  • Various reporting and analysis of trade and inventory performance and productivity
  • Communicating with stakeholders on delays and impacts on stock or deadlines
  • Maintaining meticulous records
  • Working closely with Merchandising, Sales Channels, Logistics and Asia Pacific stakeholders

Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Sales analysis and forecasting ability
  • Excel – intermediate to advanced level
  • SAP experience or similar
  • A highly proactive and collaborative approach to your work
  • Well organised with excellent planning skills
  • Strong attention to detail with attention to high quality
  • Excellent numeracy and communication skills
  • Be innovative, ask questions and be assertive where needed
  • Quick learner
