What You’ll Be Doing

We have a unique opportunity for a high-performing sales leader to play a critical leadership role within DuluxGroup. Reporting to the GM Dulux New Zealand, you’ll drive the growth of the Dulux Retail business, developing and executing the national retail sales strategy to deliver market share growth, improved profitability, and strong financial performance.

This is a rare opportunity for a high-performing commercial leader to step into a role that combines strategic ownership, enterprise influence, and hands-on execution. It is ideally suited to someone ready to broaden their impact and take the next step toward enterprise leadership.

  • Disciplined execution across key customers and channels

Beyond delivering results, you will set the agenda for the Retail business—aligning strategy, people, and execution to win in a highly competitive market.

What Makes This Role Different -

  • End-to-end ownership: From strategy through to in-market execution
  • Enterprise visibility: Active contributor to the Dulux NZ leadership agenda
  • Complex, high-impact stakeholder environment: Working across New Zealand and Australia to influence outcomes and shape channel strategy
  • Leadership scale: Directly leading key account management and the field sales organisation

Our Benefits

  • 20 weeks paid parental leave (primary carers) and 2 weeks partner leave
  • Market leading learning, development and career pathways

  • Proven senior sales leadership experience at a national level
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering growth
  • A collaborative and influential leadership style, with the ability to lead through others
  • Experience building high-performing, engaged teams
  • Strong stakeholder management – internal and external
  • Commercial mindset with a results-driven approach
  • Background in retail, FMCG, hardware, or related industries preferred
