What You’ll Be Doing:
As an AI Data Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping how AI is embedded across DuluxGroup's data ecosystem. Working within our Data & AI team, you'll build and maintain scalable, high-quality data products and pipelines that power advanced analytics, machine learning, and generative AI solutions. You'll collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and platform engineers to deliver reliable, AI-ready data assets on our modern Databricks platform, ensuring strong data quality, governance, security, and performance.
This is a hands-on role where you'll contribute to innovative AI initiatives, help establish best-practice engineering standards, and leverage emerging technologies to deliver business value through trusted data solutions.

What We’re Looking for:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer working in modern cloud-based data environments, with strong SQL and Python development skills.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines using Databricks, Apache Spark, or similar modern data platforms.
- Exposure to machine learning, advanced analytics, or generative AI use cases, with an understanding of AI-ready data requirements.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, data modelling, Lakehouse architectures, CI/CD practices, and infrastructure automation concepts.
- A strong problem solver who can work collaboratively across technical teams and translate business requirements into practical data solutions.
- A proactive, delivery-focused mindset, with a passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and building trusted, high-quality data products.
