Your Role

We are looking for a Production Team Member to join our Christchurch manufacturing team, with a key focus on powder coating and quality inspection.

This role suits someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in quality, and is comfortable working across different areas of production as required.

In this role, you will primarily support powder coating operations, ensuring finished components meet quality standards. As demand varies, you will also assist in general production and assembly work, helping the wider team meet daily production targets.

This is not a dedicated powder‑coating‑only role — flexibility and a team mindset are essential.

It’s a morning shift working Monday to Friday 6am - 2.30pm. There is also the option to work overtime on Saturday’s when demands require it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out powder coating processes, including preparation, application, curing, and inspection
  • Inspect finished products and identify coating defects
  • Troubleshoot powder coating quality issues and identify root causes
  • Support general production and assembly lines when required
  • Follow standard operating procedures and safety requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area

What we're looking for

We’re looking for someone who brings practical powder coating experience and a strong quality focus.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in powder coating (current or past role)
  • Experience inspecting coated products and identifying defects
  • An understanding of powder coating quality issues and troubleshooting
  • A hands‑on, practical approach to work
  • Willingness to support broader production tasks when needed
