Your role:

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to join our South Australia/Northern Territory retail team. This hybrid role combines sales executive and MSO responsibilities, offering a unique mix of field sales, store engagement, and office-based project support. This is a four-day-a-week position, with three days dedicated to sales executive responsibilities and one day focused on administrative, event planning, and brand ambassador activities. You will work across a focused territory, managing relationships with key retail customers, including Bunnings stores and independent retailers, while supporting broader team initiatives.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to influence the growth of Dulux branded products and services, driving both revenue and market share across multiple accounts. You’ll be responsible for consultative selling, category management, and in-store training, while also collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of retail strategies and programs. With a proactive and customer-focused approach, you’ll help deliver outstanding outcomes for both the business and its customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail customers, including store management, paint teams, and independent store owners.
  • Drive sales growth through consultative selling, category management, and in-store brand advocacy.
  • Deliver training, demonstrations, and brand ambassador activities to enhance product knowledge and customer engagement.
  • Support the broader SA/NT Retail Team with office-based duties, event planning, and project administration.
  • Ensure all activities comply with Dulux safety and sustainability policies.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and influencing skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with planning, CRM systems, and data-driven insights to support decision making.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
