Your opportunity

As a State Sales Manager (NSW North), you'll take the lead in driving the success of your sales team of Territory Managers, foster strong relationships with existing clients while proactively uncovering new business opportunities. You'll be the key to achieving financial objectives, including revenue growth, gross margin, product mix, and managing controllable expenses.

Reporting to the Sales Director for Lincoln Sentry, this role sits within the sales leadership team and will assist in driving transformational change and executing the sales strategy in the field, while continuously inspiring your team to exceed expectations and deliver exceptional results to our customers.

Here’s what you’ll achieve here:

  • Effective leadership of the sales team to maximise performance, customer satisfaction and business success
  • Improve the productivity and effectiveness of the selling effort
  • Delivery of required business financial outcomes for the NSW North region
  • Ensure NPD penetration into existing and new markets
  • Ensure the accurate preparation and updates of tendered price agreements in line with Lincoln Sentry guidelines

What you’ll bring

  • Business Degree in Commerce, Marketing or Finance
  • Previous experience in state sales leadership roles
  • Trade facing industry experience is highly desired
  • Effective communicator, capable of engaging and influencing various stakeholders
  • Strong account management experience with solid commercial and analytical capabilities
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to use Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications
