About Us

For over a century, our Paints & Coatings brands have helped shape the homes, buildings, and infrastructure that define Australia and New Zealand. From protecting iconic landmarks to adding colour to everyday spaces, our work makes a lasting impact.

Proudly part of the DuluxGroup and home to some of the region’s most trusted and beloved brands including Dulux, Berger, Acratex, British Paints, and Porter’s Paints - you’ll be joining a team of passionate people globally who are proud to create, innovate, and lead.

We’re consistently recognised as one of ANZ’s most trusted brands, and we’re committed to building better futures - for our customers, our communities, and our people.

What You’ll Be Doing

Are you a true sales hunter who thrives on winning new business and building relationships from the ground up?

We’re looking for a driven Key Account Manager to join our team, focused on developing strategic partnerships across construction companies, developers, and commercial painters. This is a highly autonomous, field-based role where success comes from getting out there, building networks, and opening doors.

This is not a maintenance account role – it’s all about new business and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Targeting construction companies and developers to secure long-term partnerships
  • Building relationships from scratch through cold calling, site visits, and door knocking
  • Connecting painters, builders, and developers to create new opportunities
  • Strengthening underdeveloped accounts and turning them into key partnerships
  • Driving product specification wins through strong stakeholder engagement

Our Benefits

  • Let us support you with Life, total permanent disability and Health Insurance
  • Exclusive discounts on DuluxGroup products and partner offers
  • We will match up to 4% of your salary to Kiwisaver
  • 20 weeks paid parental leave (primary carers) and 2 weeks partner leave
  • Market leading learning, development and career pathways
  • Access to our Wellbeing Hub and full EAP support
  • Recognition programs that celebrate your impact

What we're looking for

We’re after someone with hunger, initiative, and resilience.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven B2B sales experience (construction, trades, or related industries highly regarded)
  • A strong hunter mindset – comfortable with cold outreach and chasing new opportunities
  • Confidence to engage anyone – from site workers to senior decision-makers
  • Ability to connect the dots and build multi-party relationships
  • High energy, persistence, and a willingness to be out in the field

Why join us?

Progressing your career with the DuluxGroup means being part of a network of over 8000 employees globally who believe in our purpose to ‘Imagine a Better Place’

With origins dating back to 1918, we are a leading marketer and manufacturer of iconic brands such as Dulux, Selleys, Cabots, Yates and B&D to name a few.

By joining us, you will be a part of a long term strategy to deliver profitable growth through brand leadership, innovation and customer intimacy. We are committed to internal mobility and growth while fostering an inclusive culture with flexible work options.
