Your role
Due to an internal promotion, we have a unique opportunity for a National Account Executive to join our high performing Selleys Bunnings National Account team based in Clayton, Melbourne.
Reporting to the Channel Business Manager, this role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and plans that deliver sustained, profitable growth for both Selleys and Bunnings.
This role will take the lead on data analysis, reporting, execution tracking & evaluation of programs and activities within Bunnings Australia. You’ll work closely with a wide range of individuals within Bunnings and across the Selleys business including Field Sales Team, Dulux Group Merchandising Team, Marketing, R&D and Supply Chain to ensure channel plans are delivered.
Key to your success in this role is your ability to leverage your strong account and category management skills whilst relying on your established and effective working relationships with key stakeholders. You will create quality and impactful presentations and showcase your analytical ability by owning your sales data performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use data and critical evaluation to provide learning, insights and sales tools to enhance the delivery of the sales plans and business strategy
- Maintain regular contact and productive business relationships with a variety of stakeholders within Bunnings namely, Buyers
- Engage with the field sales team to ensure all requirements of the channel and customer are communicated clearly and effectively to both the Selleys Team and the Bunnings complexes
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement across the activation plans
- Monitor both Selleys and competitor activity within the channel and report insights to relevant portfolio managers

Skills & Experience
- Business Degree in Business or Marketing preferred
- Previous sales experience in a commercial environment
- Ability to analyse and interpret data with strong computer skills (PowerBI experience desirable)
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic operator with a track record of follow through and delivery
- High customer service orientation with strong influencing and negotiating skills
