What You’ll Be Doing

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Production Operators to join our team in Gracefield! In this role, you will play a key part in manufacturing paint using our specialized tools and formulations, ensuring every batch meets our high standards. Your tasks will include measuring raw materials, following detailed operating procedures, and overseeing the making, filling, and testing of paint. As a Production Operator, you will receive comprehensive training across all aspects of the paint manufacturing process, including raw material handling, filling and labelling products, re-canning and reworking, as well as stocktaking. You don't need any manufacturing experience, we will train you and give you ongoing support. You just need to turn up and have a can-do attitude!

As part of the team, you will be integral in helping us safely manufacture market-leading products to the highest quality and service expectations of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Get hands-on with paint production—mixing, handling raw materials, filling, and labelling products
  • Champion safety by following guidelines, spotting hazards, and driving sustainability efforts.
  • Keep the workspace in top shape by maintaining 5S standards and ensuring a clean, organized environment
  • Stay sharp with training, follow site procedures, and share knowledge to strengthen the team
  • Play a key role in quality control by assisting with stock checks, re-canning, and rework

Our Benefits

  • Let us support you with Life, total permanent disability and Health Insurance
  • Exclusive discounts on DuluxGroup products and partner offers
  • We will match up to 4% of your salary to Kiwisaver
  • 20 weeks paid parental leave (primary carers) and 2 weeks partner leave
  • Market leading learning, development and career pathways
  • Access to our Wellbeing Hub and full EAP support
  • Recognition programs that celebrate your impact
  • What we're looking for

  • Strong attention to detail and take pride in delivering high-quality work
  • Physically fit and ready to handle up to 20kg safely
