Your role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager for SA to join our expert Dulux Residential New Housing team (part of the Dulux Paints ANZ business and the largest division of DuluxGroup) in this newly created role, designed to drive business growth across the state.
Reporting to the Residential Business Manager, the focus of this role is to engage and influence key stakeholders within New Home builder organisations — including management, procurement, marketing, showroom, and construction teams to secure Dulux Interior and/or Exterior (which includes decorative paint and render, texture & membrane coatings products) specification agreements.
In this role, you will operate with a high level of independence and strategic focus while also contributing as part of the broader Housing and Trade team. Collaboration is key and you will work with and be supported by multiple business units and sales teams within DuluxGroup. Pivotal to your success in this role, will be your ability to tender submissions across a range of DuluxGroup products and services to secure business and grow your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
- Maximise sales and profit across the state by nurturing existing relationships, expanding emerging accounts, and converting new business opportunities
- Develop and implement a robust growth plan that targets both short-term wins and long-term opportunities with key customers
- Secure business across our broad product range including Dulux decorative coatings, Acratex render, texture and membrane systems, as well as cladding solutions
- Work closely with Dulux Trade and Acratex teams to align strategies, influence key stakeholders, and deliver a cohesive customer experience
- Develop and present business proposals to customers that provide a win / win outcome for the builder, the consumer and Dulux

Skills & Experience
- Previous sales experience with strong business development and account management skills
- Ability to manage a broad product portfolio while effectively prioritising time and resources to maximise results
- Experience in pitching for commercial agreements and managing tenders, with the confidence to engage key decision-makers
- Transferable skills from adjacent industries such as real estate or building materials will be highly regarded
