Your role:

Join our DuluxGroup Specification Team as a Specification Consultant, where you’ll play a key role in delivering expert product and project advice for Dulux/DGL Powder and Industrial Coatings. This is a full-time role with the flexibility to work from home, and the opportunity to occasionally meet architects and other industry stakeholders in person.

In this position, you’ll collaborate with internal teams and customers to provide colour, product, warranty, and specification advice, driving the successful specification of Dulux premium coatings on major projects across ANZ. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values continuous learning, collaboration, and celebrating success together.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and write project specifications using Duspec/MasterSpec to meet customer and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and National Specification teams to deliver timely, high-quality specification support.
  • Track and manage project specifications through CRM systems (C4C/BCI) to ensure projects progress to successful completion.
  • Provide customers with expert advice on product, colour, warranty, and technical details.
  • Contribute to process improvement, data quality, and continuous learning within the Specification team.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and process-oriented approach.
  • Confidence using digital tools and CRM systems.
  • Experience in customer engagement, specification, or B2B technical environments is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of coatings, construction, or architecture is helpful but not essential — training will be provided.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
