About the Role 

We have a full-time opportunity for a motivated self-reliant individual to join our growing team as a production / assembly line worker in Christchurch. It’s an afternoon shift working Monday to Thursday 2:30pm to 12am and Friday 2:30pm to 6.30pm. There is also the option to work overtime on Saturday’s.

This role will ideally suit a hands-on, self-motivated person who is willing and passionate about turning up and working hard! Training will be provided. You will have the opportunity to learn from a quality team and grow to be a key member of our successful production team.

You will be working in the general assembly of the components and hardware of sectional garage doors for residencial or industrial use, while working closely with our knowledgeable team who will be there to offer support and guidance. You’ll be part of a group that is passionate and proud of what they do, enabling you to drive your career forward as part of our friendly B&D team.

This is a physical role with varied tasks that will keep you busy every day. Having a great attitude, reliability and a safety focus will be crucial in your success.

 Skills and Experience

  • Have a great eye for detail and pride in your work
  • Physical ability to safely lift weight up to 20kg
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment and willingness to work in line with Health and Safety regulations
  • A reliable self-starter
  • Enjoys working as part of a close-knit team
