We’re looking for an experienced sales leader to drive and execute Cabot’s strategy across the Bunnings channel in NSW. Reporting to the State Sales Manager, this role plays a critical part in delivering commercial results, executing national initiatives at a state level, and leading a high‑performing field sales team.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives in retail execution, relationship building, and turning state plans into in‑store results.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the State Channel Manager, you’ll own the NSW implementation of national Bunnings initiatives, translate strategy into action, and drive market share growth across multiple stores and brands. You’ll work closely with key Bunnings stakeholders while coaching and guiding Sales Executives to deliver strong commercial outcomes and best‑in‑class execution in store.

  • Deliver state financial targets including sales, profit, product mix and KPIs
  • Grow market share and distribution across all assigned outlets
  • Be highly visible in store, supporting daily selling activities and execution standards
  • Use sales data, CRM and internal tools to drive performance and decision‑making

What We’re Looking for

  • 3+ years’ leadership experience in retail or field‑based sales 
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret sales data and trends
  • Proven relationship‑building skills with senior retail stakeholders
  • Confident coaching and influencing capability
  • Hands‑on approach with strong execution focus
  • Sound business judgement and planning skills
