Your opportunity
The Assistant Category Manager will support the buying and product management functions within the Architectural Hardware product portfolio. This role is pivotal in assisting the Category Manager in delivering new product development, product lifecycle analysis, range integrity, stakeholder management, and promotional execution.
Responsibilities
- Data analysis and business administration tasks
- Product range reviews and recommendations based on data
- Category hygiene activities, such as analyzing slow-moving stock
- Communication with other business subsystems (marketing, finance, planning, procurement)
- Forecasting and new product development tasks
What you’ll bring
Ideal candidates will have data analysis and procurement experience.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis or product lifecycle analysis
- Proficiency in Excel, JDE, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or marketing is preferred but not essential
- Experience in digital channel content management
- Previous experience in a buying/procurement function
- Construction industry experience is preferred but not essential
