Your Role
We’re seeking a field‑based Technical Sales Representative to promote our exterior plaster cladding systems, deepen relationships across the construction ecosystem, generate specifications, and support contractors to win and deliver high‑quality work. You’ll be the face of our systems on site and in design offices—building credibility quickly and creating true pull‑through from specification to install.
As our Technical Sales Representative, you’ll be the face of Dulux Textures across a large and high‑value territory. You’ll build meaningful relationships with contractors, architects, designers, and builders—promoting our exterior cladding systems, generating specification opportunities, and supporting contractors to win and deliver projects.

The territory for this role covers Hawkes Bay→ Manawatū → Taranaki→ Wellington. Preferance is to have someone based out of Manawatu or Wellington.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Promoting exterior plaster cladding systems to architects, designers, builders, and contractors
- Generating new leads and identifying project opportunities across the region
- Building strong relationships with contractors and providing timely technical support
- Creating specification opportunities by engaging early with architects and designers
- Completing reporting, CRM updates, and other admin tasks (around 20% of the role)

What We’re Looking for
- Strong industry experience in exterior plastering or a closely related construction discipline (preferred over pure sales due to technical complexity and contractor expectations)
- Ability to build credibility quickly with plasterers and contractors
- Comfortable juggling multiple leads, projects, and stakeholders
- Self‑motivated, proactive and sharp at spotting opportunities on the road
- Ability to build credibility quickly with contractors
- Confident communicator with solid relationship‑building skills
- Construction sales experience or regional industry connections (advantageous)
