Your Role:
As the Head of Safety & Sustainability, you’ll spearhead strategic initiatives that drive performance, reduce risk, and embed sustainability across our entire value chain—from manufacturing sites to commercial and technical teams. You’ll lead a high-impact team and collaborate with senior leaders to ensure safety and sustainability are owned and championed at every level of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement improvement strategies aligned with DuluxGroup frameworks to manage high-consequence safety risks and sustainability impacts.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Influence and enable leaders across Yates Group to take ownership of safety and sustainability outcomes.
- Data-Driven Leadership: Apply rigorous analytics to identify priorities and measure performance across safety, sustainability, and cultural initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and guide a small team of professionals, fostering collaboration and capability development.
- Cultural Transformation: Drive a proactive and generative safety culture through leadership programs, training, and engagement.

Skills & Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in safety and sustainability across manufacturing and FMCG environments.
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Expertise in managing diverse safety risks and sustainability impacts.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
