Your Role

Are you a strategic and operational HR leader ready to make a national impact? As the HR Country Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the people, culture, and change agenda across multiple businesses. This role combines high-level strategic leadership with hands-on operational delivery, supporting the NZ Dulux General Manager and senior leadership team while also acting as a key partner to country managers across New Zealand. You’ll lead the execution of people strategies, drive transformation, and ensure seamless collaboration with Australian counterparts—all while building capability and culture in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR leadership to the Dulux GM and senior leaders, and act as the PCC lead for NZ country managers
• Collaborate with the PCC Leadership Team to deliver integrated people and culture support across businesses
• Drive strategic initiatives across change leadership, talent, recruitment, performance, ER/IR, L&D, workforce planning, and remuneration
• Lead business-critical projects and support delivery of strategic objectives
• Partner with Australian centres of expertise while advocating for NZ needs

Skills & Experience

• Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related field
• HR leadership experience, ideally spanning both public and private sectors
• Deep expertise in workplace relations, remuneration, and industrial relations
• Strategic thinker with a knack for delivering practical, people-focused solutions
• Experienced in leading change and transformation programs
