About Us:

For over a century, our Paints & Coatings brands have helped shape the homes, buildings, and infrastructure that define Australia and New Zealand. From protecting iconic landmarks to adding colour to everyday spaces, our work makes a lasting impact.

Proudly part of the DuluxGroup and home to some of the region’s most trusted and beloved brands including Dulux, Berger, Acratex, British Paints, and Porter’s Paints - you’ll be joining a team of passionate people globally who are proud to create, innovate, and lead.

What You’ll Be Doing:

In this role, you will support, manage, and grow Dulux Protective Coatings and Dulux Trade business opportunities across north-west WA, with a strong focus on the Mining, Heavy Industrial, and Trade painting sectors. You’ll work independently to build and strengthen relationships with consultants, engineers, architects, contractors, councils, and asset owners—delivering expert technical advice, tailored specifications, and exceptional customer service. You will drive profitable sales growth through effective business development, commercial agreements, and strategic market engagement, while also supporting new product development initiatives and bringing innovation to the market.

As the key support to the State Sales Manager (acting as 2IC), you'll play an integral role in forecasting, price management, managing project lists, and ensuring safety and sustainability remain priorities. This role blends fieldwork, technical consultation, and strategic planning, offering a highly autonomous environment where you can make a significant impact across the WA region.

Our Benefits:

  • Up to $1,000 net annually to cover private health extras gap costs
  • Exclusive discounts on DuluxGroup products and partner offers
  • Stay active anytime, anywhere through our partnership with Fitness Passport
  • 20 weeks paid parental leave (primary carers) and 2 weeks partner leave from day one
  • Market leading learning, development and career pathways
  • Access to our Wellbeing Hub and full EAP support
  • Recognition programs that celebrate your impact

What We’re Looking for:

  • Industry experience or a Trade Painter qualification
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and planning skills
  • Experience resolving customer complaints and managing complex projects
  • Excellent time management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer and report-writing capability
  • Extensive technical and product knowledge in coatings
