About the role

This role provides brilliant exposure to new product development and project management. In this pivotal role, you will own and manage the Stage & Gate Process, support the Innovation Pipeline development process, and manage key projects within the business – across both consumers and customers.

You’ll be responsible for driving the NPD agenda to support business growth targets with the delivery of key innovation projects across multiple categories, working in close liaison with Brand, Insights, Category, R&D, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.

This is a high-impact role that provides you the opportunity to engage with the leadership team and drive the CPWB 3-5 year horizon innovation plan.  The role is based out of Clayton, Victoria.

Responsibilities

• Identify market opportunities and innovation projects and proactively manage the innovation funnel
• Champion NPD and Project Management and continually look to upskill capability throughout the woodcare business ensuring all projects are on track and running smoothly
• Working collaboratively with Category, Brand, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance as well as Commercial teams and key Customers
• Establish a commercially robust 3-5 year horizon innovation plan
• Drive the CPWB sustainability agenda via packaging, product and process improvement

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience in innovation/NPD project management or brand management
• Experience working closely with R&D/Technical teams and managing cross functional teams
• Strong commercial acumen and financial understanding.
• In depth knowledge of stage & gate processes
