About the Role

We have a great opportunity for someone to join the market leading, innovative B&D Group as a Trade Marketing Coordinator. We make a range of garage doors & accessories and have been New Zealand’s favourite brand in this market since 1956. Our marketing function has been a key part in the businesses growth and will play a huge role in our future plans.

The Trade Marketing Coordinator has a great mix of marketing responsibilities and project management. You will have responsibility for our platinum dealers across the country, helping them drive and execute their marketing business plans. You will also work closely with internal marketing and sales teams while being supported and developed by our excellent leadership team.

This is an exciting role with plenty of variety and the opportunity to further develop your marketing career. B&D are proud of the quality and innovation we provide our customers which is a result of the positivity and passion our team bring to work each day.

 Skills and Experience

You will come from a marketing generalist background. It would be ideal if you have worked across a group of franchises/retailers/dealers and assisted them with marketing strategies specific to their regions. You will be highly organised and enjoy building relationships both internally and externally.

Other key skills and attributes include:

  • Preferably a tertiary qualification in marketing / commerce 2-3 years related marketing experience in a commercial environment, interfacing with external customers 
  • Able to interrogate data sources (including sales, consumer research and customer opinion) and develop recommendations and best practice and sell through the business
  • Sound administration, planning and analytical skills
  • Practical knowledge of Advertising, Promotions & Communication 
  • Strong understanding of the digital environment
  • Experience in managing agencies
  • Ability to prioritise and work quickly in a fast-paced environment
