What You’ll Be Doing: 

As our Lead Maintenance Fitter, you will play a key role in keeping our Cabot’s Dandenong South operations running safely, efficiently and with minimal downtime. You will take ownership of production equipment, lead preventative and reactive maintenance activity, and drive continuous improvement opportunities that help our people deliver great products every day.

Working closely with our Engineering and Maintenance team, you will champion safe work practices, empower others through strong communication and support a culture where everyone runs the business as if it were their own.

• A qualified mechanical tradesperson with strong maintenance experience and the confidence to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Someone who champions safety, follows process, and takes ownership of equipment reliability and improvement.
• A natural problem solver who investigates root causes and collaborates with operators, leaders and contractors.
• An organised communicator who keeps stakeholders informed and contributes positively to team culture.
• A proactive individual who enjoys continuous improvement, takes pride in their work area and can work independently or within a team.
