Join the Lincoln Sentry team as our new Technical Sales and Support Representative based in our National Head Office at Acacia Ridge, Queensland. You will be using your collaborative approach to working and your Sales or Customer Service skills to build relationships and help support continuous improvement initiatives in the customer experience.
This is an exciting role, which will see you work seamlessly and collaboratively across the business to develop accurate technical quotes for our existing customer base, comprising of both small and large Commercial and Residential Trade customers. You’ll also be working hard to achieve KPIs and budgets while working closely with the broader external Sales team to help create and convert compelling technical quotes for small and large opportunities.
Being a national role, your day will include direct customer interactions via phone, email, and CRM ticketing system. There is also a degree of negotiating improved outcomes with our well-established vendor partners to ensure a successful result for our customers; we want to make their life easier and help to create their next exciting space.
We understand that you might not come with all the system understanding right away and you might not have experience from our industries, we offer training on our systems and products that you’ll work with, all we ask of you is to be ready to learn, with a flexible attitude to change as we continue to improve, excite our customers and grow market share along the way.
What you will bring and develop:
You are a proactive and energetic professional with a genuine, down to earth, and positive attitude. You have an excellent customer focussed approach and a natural ability to manage and create relationships with a range of stakeholders within the industries we operate.
You’ll also bring sound time management and problem-solving skills which will help you deliver on time and accurate results. Strong communication skills with an organised and structured approach to your day will see you succeed in the role.
Other key skills and experience that set you apart from the crowd include;
- B2B Sales, Trade Sales or Customer Service experience preferably within the construction industry but not essential
- Strong interpersonal skills letting you harness our established customer relationships and create new ones
- Experience with a CRM package and SAP will be desired but not essential
- A collaborative and consultative approach to customer management
