What You’ll Be Doing: 

As a Software Engineer, on a fixed term 6-month contract, within DuluxGroup’s Digital Platforms team, you will play a key role in building, supporting and evolving the web platforms that power the business. You will work with modern front end and backend technologies to deliver secure, reliable and maintainable digital solutions, operating independently on defined components while collaborating on larger programs of work.

This role contributes directly to platform stability, continuous improvement and engineering excellence, while also supporting and mentoring Associate Engineers. You will be empowered to apply best practice engineering standards, contribute ideas, and help shape solutions that enable teams across the business to operate effectively and with confidence.

What We’re Looking for: 

  • A Software Engineer with approx. 2 - 5 years experience supporting and developing web-based applications in a production environment
  • Strong hands-on experience across web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript and modern frameworks such as React and NextJS
  • Experience working with CMS’s including Umbraco, Optimizely or similar platforms
  • Solid backend development capability using .NET, C# and SQL Server
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working in Agile environments with other engineers, working closely with brand teams, contributing to peer reviews and continuous learning
