 What You’ll Be Doing:

Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate, driven, and relationship-focused Business Development Manager to join one of Australia's most trusted brands. If you're hungry for success, thrive on building meaningful customer partnerships, and enjoy uncovering new growth opportunities, this is your chance to make a genuine impact. You'll play a key role in helping trade customers grow their businesses while accelerating your own career within a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team.

In this field-based role, you'll work closely with trade painters and businesses across Perth's southern suburbs, winning new customers, reactivating dormant accounts, and providing tailored solutions that support business growth. Beyond sales, you'll act as a trusted partner, offering valuable advice across estimating, quoting, productivity, cost management, and marketing.

Supported by a collaborative network of Dulux Trade and Inspiration Stores, you'll build strong, long-term relationships while contributing to the ongoing success of our customers and our business. We welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences who are driven to connect with people, create opportunities, and deliver outstanding customer outcomes. Together, we'll continue to strengthen Dulux's market presence and help our customers achieve lasting success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business growth and reactivate dormant trade accounts across Perth South of the River.
  • Build strong relationships with trade painters through regular face-to-face and phone-based engagement.
  • Identify sales opportunities and provide tailored business solutions, including estimating, quoting, cost management, productivity, and marketing support.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of trade accounts while collaborating closely with local trade and inspiration stores.
  • Represent Dulux's market-leading brands and deliver exceptional customer service and support.

What We’re Looking for:

  • Demonstrated success in new business development and account management.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth and deliver strong commercial results.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Target-driven and motivated to achieve and exceed performance goals.
  • Previous trade industry or sales experience is advantageous.
