What You’ll Be Doing

We are the largest Australian manufacturer of bar soaps, liquid bleach and firelighter cubes and looking to expand our manufacturing team in Shepparton, Victoria. 

As a result of business growth, opportunities exist for Skilled Production Team members to form part of our Manufacturing team to drive our production systems and deliver quality products to our customers every day.

Enabling 24hr batching across multiple 2tn - 30tn tanks, tank transfers, Tank CIP - sanitation, Formulation testing and release and servicing Liquids plant growth across 6 filling lines.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Safe handling of blending Chemicals and Raw materials used in formulations per batch SOPs.
  • Run a Semi-automated batching operation to design specs and batch testing per Quality specifications.
  • Batching tank management and connection according production plans and schedules across liquid filling and packing lines.
  • Support relief of filling lines as/ when required.
  • Engagement and involvement in Lean/ Continuous Improvement project teams
  • Undertake batching plant GMP 5S activities

What We’re Looking for 

  • Min. 2 years’ experience working in a chemical or product blending environment.
  • Mechanical skills & aptitude & Chemical handling and blending experience
  • Exposure and understanding of GMP/ HACCP/ Lean principles
  • Ability to work autonomously & troubleshoot batching issues
  •  Attention to detail & diligence in production & quality documentation completion
  • Valid forklift licence
