What You’ll Be Doing

As a Maintenance & Engineering Manager at our Wyong site, you’ll lead the maintenance function while playing a key role in shaping the site's long-term asset strategy. You'll oversee a team of skilled tradespeople, driving a strong safety culture, improving equipment reliability and minimising downtime through effective maintenance planning and execution. Working as part of the site leadership team, you'll manage maintenance budgets, develop asset lifecycle and replacement strategies, and identify opportunities to enhance safety, productivity and operational performance. You'll also lead capital projects and equipment upgrades, build strong relationships across operations and supply chain, and contribute to future capacity planning and continuous improvement initiatives that support the site's ongoing success.

What We’re Looking for

  • A proven leader with experience in manufacturing or process industries, capable of driving asset reliability, operational performance and continuous improvement.
  • A hands-on people leader who can build capability, coach maintenance teams and foster a culture of accountability, safety and high performance.
  • Strong technical expertise across maintenance strategy, shutdown planning, contractor management and maintenance management systems.
  • A safety-first professional with experience managing engineering risk, hazardous environments, permit-to-work systems and Management of Change processes.
  • A commercially minded problem solver who can use operational and maintenance data to identify improvement opportunities, reduce downtime and support smart investment decisions.
