This is an excellent opportunity to drive paint sales in the Wellington region by growing Dulux’s product & colour in the local market. You will maintain existing and develop new relationships in the specifier market primarily with designers but will also include a range of other clients.
Reporting into our Wellington Architectural Specification Consultant, your primary focus will be to ensure Dulux coatings (Decorative, PC, Textures, Woodcare) are specified on a wide range of projects with a focus on:
Maintaining a strong and valued relationship with the existing accounts
Regular and targeted engagement with all types of specifiers
Collaborative working with Trade Sales team for the execution of key projects
Specifying premium range products to deliver optimum financial returns
What you will bring and develop
You are a creative person with excellent people skills and the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders. Your prior experience with colours/interior designing/architecture specification or paints will be advantageous.
Other key skills and experience include:
Specification and sales experience in the paints industry
Tertiary qualification in interior designing or related field
Strong relationship and account management skills
Good negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Commercial acumen with sound IT skills
