About the role

We are seeking a State Sales Manager who will oversee the local sales strategy, aligning it with the national plan. The candidate will provide leadership and coaching to the Acratex sales team, continuously enhancing sales capability and effectiveness. The role will strengthen and maintain strong external and external partnerships including our Dulux Trade Stores network and a range of external customers across the sales channels.

Acratex has had excellent growth results in QLD but we see further opportunity to capatilise on our market position. The role needs to have a mix of a strategic, lateral thinker who is also willing tyo be a hands on executor.

Responsibilities

  • Motivate and engage the team through in-field coaching and personal development
  • Utilize CRM and sales data to drive business growth
  • Execute sales strategies for market expansion and growth in various customer bases
  • Lead the team in managing key accounts and a budget
  • Collaborate across trade-facing units for profitable growth and mentor teams for top project success

 Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience leading an external sales team
  • Proven experience delivering or developing a national/state business strategy
  • Passion for developing teams and future leaders
  • Experience managing a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Exposure to a complex channel sales environment would be an advantage
