Join our dedicated team at Doutta Galla Queens Park where every day is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents.

We have the following permanent morning shifts available for a Registered Nurse Grade 1 or Grade 2:

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 0700-1500

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure care service delivery is based on the current needs, goals and preferences of residents as identified in partnership with residents.
  • Provide person centred care within your scope of practice, to residents with complex clinical needs, including the management of wounds, diabetes, behaviourial, medication, nutrition and hydration, pressure care and incontinence.
  • Ensure medications are administered, documented, stored and disposed of in accordance with regulations and policies.
  • Ensure interactions with residents/participant and their representatives are kind, caring and respectful of each individual's identity, culture and diversity.

What you will bring:

  • A passion for and experience in providing clinical care, preferably in Aged Care
  • A positive attitude and dedication to resident care and support
  • Current Australia Professional Health Regulatory Authority (AHPRA registration)
  • Understanding of the Aged Care Standards and a willingness to embrace and champion them, ensuring resident dignity and choice is central to all that they do
  • A passion for providing a quality, relationship-based service
  • Knowledge of OH&S and infection control specific to resident care
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a clinical team
  • Effective and positive communication skills
  • Excellent time management
