We have opportunities for Part-time afternoon shifts for Personal Care Assistant position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respectful personal care, including hygiene assistance, dressing and mobility support to the residents.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and meals.
• Foster independence, dignity, and individual choice for each resident.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

What you will bring:

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in personal care ideally in an aged care setting
• Experience caring for people living with dementia. Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care/Disability (or equivalent e.g. Individual Support)  
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and non-verbally with residents living with dementia and/or where English is a second language.
• Demonstrated ability to document concisely and effectively in resident progress notes
• Ability to work effectively and respectfully in a team environment. 
• Knowledge of the Care Plan process and the relevant assessments required.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach.
