Doltone Hospitality Group is seeking a motivated HR Administrator to support our Head Office and venue teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1 year of HR experience who is eager to learn, develop their skills and build a long-term career in Human Resources.

In this hands-on role, you will gain exposure to HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement and people initiatives, while working alongside a supportive and collaborative HR team.

What are your responsibilities:

  • Support the CHRO and HR team with day-to-day HR operations and administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction processes, including paperwork, IT setup and welcome packs for new team members.
  • Manage offboarding processes including exit interviews, documentation and return of company property.
  • Maintain HR policies, procedures and HR records, ensuring documents are up to date and accessible.
  • Provide HR administrative support including inbox management, reporting and HR system updates.
  • Support employee engagement and recognition programs, events and internal communications.
  • Assist Talent Acquisition with recruitment including screening, interviewing and contract preparation when required.
  • Assist HR Business Partners and contribute to HR projects across Head Office and venues.
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety policies and support safe work practices.

Your attributes:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal ability and professional presentation
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent reporting and document management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while managing competing priorities
  • Initiative and ability to work autonomously with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS systems (desirable)

Your experience:

  • Minimum 1 year HR experience (essential) with tertiary qualification in HR is essential.
  • Sound understanding of employment and industrial relations legislation.
  • Previous administrative experience.
  • Previous experience working within hospitality or tourism industry is an advantage.
