The Role

As a Relief Manager, you’ll step in to lead daily operations at our work-stay villages, ensuring smooth running in the absence of the Park Manager. You’ll travel to various locations (sometimes at short notice), learn our operations, and help maintain our high standards of hospitality and guest care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily village operations, including kitchen, grounds, maintenance, and housekeeping
  • Conduct pre- and post-handover reviews with Park Managers
  • Manage and roster park teams, including ad-hoc recruitment
  • Monitor labour and park budgets
  • Handle office administration tasks
  • Attend to after-hours call-outs as required

What We’re Looking For

This role is ideal for a mobile, adaptable individual who thrives on variety and can quickly get up to speed in new environments.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in accommodation management (work-stay/village preferred)
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to different locations, including remote areas, for varying durations
  • Proven ability to manage, develop, and train staff
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets and financial reporting
  • Previous experience with RMS or similar property management systems
  • Knowledge of WHS responsibilities; HACCP and Food Safety knowledge desirable
  • A current manual driver’s licence (essential)

Benefits

  • Competitive salary package
  • Travel arrangements will be provided
  • Accommodation and utilities included while on assignment in park
  • Professional development and opportunities to grow personally as well as professionally
  • Discounted accommodation for you, your family & friends
  • Discounted products from our G’day Rewards Partners
