The Role
As Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all maintenance operations across the property. You will lead and coordinate a diverse team including mechanics, plumbers, grounds staff and general hands, ensuring the day‑to‑day functionality of infrastructure, plant and equipment across the park.
With a strong operational and people‑management focus, you will:
- Prioritise and delegate maintenance activities across multiple sites
- Ensure all work is completed safely, compliantly, on time and within budget
- Manage preventative maintenance schedules and capital works planning
- Oversee contractors and specialist trades
- Play a key role in maintaining a high‑quality guest experience through reliable, well‑presented facilities
This is a varied and hands‑on role suited to a proactive leader who is comfortable working in a large‑scale, remote resort environment.

About You
You are an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys leading teams and solving problems in dynamic environments. Ideally, you will bring:
- Proven experience in a similar maintenance leadership role, preferably in hospitality, resorts or remote operations
- Strong people‑management skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate a diverse team
- Extensive hands‑on experience with STP, WTP and generators at a large‑scale site
- Demonstrated experience managing contractors and subcontractors
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication and planning skills
- The ability to manage resources and budgets effectively
- A proactive, practical and solutions‑focused mindset
- A genuine commitment to workplace health and safety
Qualifications & Licences
- Trade qualification (Electrician, Mechanic, Plumber, Engineer, Carpenter, etc.)
- Unrestricted/Open Manual Driver’s Licence
- Senior First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Relevant licences such as Chainsaw or Forklift
- Workplace Health & Safety Representative Training
- HR Driver’s Licence
- Pool Operator’s Certificate
