 Habitat Noosa is situated in 65 acres of beautiful National Park 25 minutes North of Noosa. We have a range of accommodation styles from camping to Luxurious glamping tents. Our onsite Bistro and Brewery operates 7 days a week providing delicious, affordable meals and unique craft beers created on site using our own Artesian water supply.

The Role

We are looking for qualified chefs, experienced cooks or apprentices to join the team at Habitat Noosa. Due to expansion exciting career opportunities exist across all levels of the kitchen. At Habitat we have a full Bistro and micro-brewery on site.

As we continue to grow, the available positions will cover all aspects of operations within the kitchen environment. It will require a strong work ethic, team focused attitude, flexibility, reliability and a can-do attitude.

There are a variety of shifts available across a 7 day a week roster on offer for our lunch, and dinner services as well as functions. Full time and casual positions available with negotiable salary and hourly rates based on experience.

We value our employees and believe in work/life balance, therefore we also offer flexible working hours; straight shifts; morning or evening...or have a three-day weekend!

The successful applicants must have work rights and live within a 45-minute drive of Habitat Noosa.

About You

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

  • Previous Chef experience and cooking in a similar environment 
  • Proven ability to work within a team and autonomously
  • Ability to prep and organise ahead 
  • Current driver's license.
  • Passion and integrity for the industry
  • The ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Work in a fast-paced environment

This role may involve extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
