Discovery Parks – Rottnest Island offers a truly unique island experience, featuring 83 luxury glamping tents across multiple service levels, a resort-style swimming pool, and Pinky’s Restaurant, which provides both indoor and outdoor dining with breathtaking coastal views.
The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Cook to join our culinary team at Discovery Parks – Rottnest Island. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality food and memorable dining experiences for our guests in a fast-paced, premium hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in line with menu specifications and quality standards
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant kitchen at all times
- Working collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth and timely service
- Assisting with menu planning and contributing creative ideas where appropriate
- Adhering to all food safety, hygiene, and WHS requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience as a Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- A genuine passion for food and delivering consistently high-quality dishes
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
- A current driver’s licence (desirable)
