The Role
As a Sous Chef at Undara Experience, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and menu execution
- Prepare and present dishes with a focus on local ingredients and regional flavors
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
- Help manage inventory, ordering, and food costs to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Working effectively within a team environment
- Assisting in stock control and monitoring wastage
Skills & Experience
- Previous Chef experience and cooking in a high-quality, fast-paced kitchen environment
- Formal trade qualifications in commercial cooking or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in electronic purchase ordering and cost management
- Proven experience in planning and developing menus
- Proven ability to work within a team and autonomously
- Ability to prep and organise ahead
- Current First Aid Certificate is highly desirable
- HACCP experience essential, with a high emphasis on food hygiene
- Current driver's license is highly desirable
